Real fear and neurotic fear termed by Frued.
Real fear triggers direct response to our neuro and sends out message to our nervous which sends orders to our organs, that will either shut down or activate to support our sudden physical response to fight or flight. From The Perception of fear and pain in animals, Grandin and Johnson believes that for animal, it is the single worst thing to make it feel afraid, much more than to feel pain, due to their lower frontal lobe; animals have lower capacity to reason and control fear, they feel fear when they're threatened in any way, and are easily overwhelmed and stop functioning.
Scared to death.
Humans are much more in control with the real fear, yet we are suffering more of neurotic fear, to the extreme fears can become so all-consuming that they interfere with daily life. The phobia.
But this same fear is a liberator. It may be a dark passage, but also a way, a tunnel through to an understanding of fantasies and desires, of unconscious transactions, of ideological manifestations and bodily organizations. It is in between the parallel world that holds the conscious, the time, in which one mitigates the influence and flux of the external world, a physiological space that is neither inside nor outside, without specific time or space, a lens.

is an instrument to mark the movement of fear through physical failure of the material in space.
An apparatus inscribed into a play of fear, but it is also linked to a certain limits of knowledge that arise from it, to and equal degree condition it. She is a set of strategic relationships supporting, and supported by, a certain manipulation of relations of forces.
